You will need:
- Craft fabric
- Thread and a needle
- An iron
- A sewing machine
- A tape measure
- Pins

Step 1
Firstly, cut out one rectangular piece of your main fabric that is 50x81 cm and another rectangular piece that is 50x66 cm.

Step 2
Then, hem one short side of each of your fabric pieces.

Step 3
Place the two fabric pieces right sides facing, with the non-hemmed edges lined up.

Step 4
Measure the difference in length between the two fabric pieces and fold over the excess fabric over itself to create the envelope.

Step 5
Pin the three edges that aren’t hemmed and sew along them on the sewing machine, using a zigzag stitch for extra strength.

Step 6
Turn your pillowcase right sides out and press with an iron.
