Spice up your room scheme
Spicy tones such as cinnamon, saffron, ginger and chilli are all widely used in Indian and ethnic fabric. These warm colours will bring cosiness and warmth to your scheme. If used on your walls these colours can make a room feel smaller and darker however they will also add a touch of drama for example in a dining room. If you feel these colours are too dark for your walls then use them for your curtain fabric - Malabar have some great prints - and paint your walls lighter shades of these spicy colours. Natural flooring works well with this scheme so choose sisal or coir matting.
