Using horse print fabric in living spaces
In a study use a print that has been inspired by a hunting scheme. Use the horse fabric for curtains and cushions. If you want to use an accent colour choose a bright red as depicted in the scarlet colour of the huntsmen's jackets. Leather chairs, a dark wooden desk and a cushion depicting hounds complete the scheme.
In a living room use a tweed fabric for curtains or upholstery, think of the fabric used in hacking jackets. Accessorise with cushions relating to the countryside for example depicting hounds or country pursuits. Add some woolen throws for cosiness and for warmth on cooler evenings.
Horse themed bedrooms
There are a lot of horse mad youngsters around who would love a horse themed bedroom. Use a horse print fabric for curtains and then keep walls plain so that they can be adorned with horse posters and rosettes won at local gymkhanas. Flooring should be practical and easy to keep clean - floorboards are an ideal choice with rugs to add some cosiness.

In the kitchen instead of using a horse print fabric you could use a fun print depicting welly boots - this quirky print fabric would also look great in a boot room or utility room - very appropriate in a country setting.
If you fancy something different and more colourful, why not base your scheme around the colourful silks worn by jockeys. Choose your favourite bright, bold colours, if they clash it doesn't matter and use for a selection of cushions on a neutral coloured sofa. Choose a plain silk for curtains and then have them interlined so that they hang beautifully.
